How Coupang works
Coupang (쿠팡) is South Korea's largest online retailer, the app most residents open first for everything from bottled water and rice to diapers, electronics and fresh groceries. Items with the rocket badge (로켓배송) arrive the next day when paid by midnight, weekends included — a level of speed that only exists for orders placed inside Korea.

판매자로켓Seller Rocket
A marketplace seller's stock that Coupang stores, packs and delivers, so it moves at Rocket speed. The seller sets the price; Coupang handles delivery and returns.
로켓프레시Rocket Fresh
Coupang's groceries and chilled or frozen food, with a minimum of ₩15,000 in Fresh items. Ordered the night before, it's left at your door early the next morning.
로켓직구Rocket Direct Purchase
Ships from outside Korea and takes longer. Needs the recipient's personal clearance code (개인통관고유부호), and the name and phone number registered with it must match the delivery details.

Seller items: slower, and can be cancelledItems without a rocket come from independent sellers by ordinary courier, usually within a few days. If a seller cancels for lack of stock, we refund you in full; if it misses the date shown at checkout, Coupang allows a free cancellation.

Rocket Fresh: no change-of-mind returnsFresh, chilled and frozen food can't be returned for a change of mind, and can't be cancelled once it is on the way. It is left at your door before 7 am, so plan to bring it in soon after.

Returns: unused Rocket items onlyRocket items can go back for a change of mind within 30 days of delivery only if unused, with tags, labels and product box intact; 로켓직구 and Fresh are excluded, and seller items carry the seller's return fee. We file returns in Korean.

Some addresses and busy days are slowerWhere Coupang's own couriers don't deliver, Rocket goes by a partner courier in about two days (brown +2일 badge), and fast options such as early-morning delivery aren't available. Holidays, bad weather and order surges can also push dates back.
Tips for ordering Coupang through us
- Paste the link after choosing your option, and prefer a version with the rocket badge: the same product can have several sellers with different speeds and shipping fees.
- Write your building's front-door code (공동현관 비밀번호) in the order notes; without it, early-morning deliveries may be left at the ground-floor entrance, not your door.
- Need a Rocket item on a set day, like moving-in day? Coupang lets us pick the delivery date (not the time) at checkout, so write the date in the order notes.
- If the product page shows a delivery fee (배송비), add it to the price you enter — marketplace sellers often charge their own.
Why foreigners get stuck on Coupang — and what we do
Signing up, though, means passing Coupang's Korean mobile-number identity check (본인인증), and its own payment system only works once you have passed it — a dead end for most foreigners in Korea. Send us the product link, option, and quantity, and we place the order on a verified Korean account with your Korean address as the delivery address, so Coupang's own courier brings it straight to your door, the same as any domestic order.

Coupang — frequently asked questions
How fast is Coupang Rocket Delivery (로켓배송)?
Rocket items paid for by midnight arrive the next day, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays included, wherever Coupang's own couriers deliver. Outside Coupang's own delivery zones a partner courier takes about two days. The cut-off counts from when we place the order, so send yours early in the evening if you need it tomorrow.
Do I include Coupang's delivery fee in the price?
Yes. If the product page shows a delivery fee (배송비), add it to the item price you enter in the order form. Rocket items often ship free above a minimum order, while marketplace sellers set their own fees. We check the total against the listing before we buy.
Can I return a Coupang order I placed through you?
Yes. Tell us in time and we file the return in Korean; you leave the item repacked at your door for the courier to collect. Unused Rocket items can go back within 30 days of delivery, seller-shipped items within 7 days with round-trip shipping deducted, and 로켓직구 items within 7 days with a return fee; Rocket Fresh can't be returned for a change of mind. Faulty, damaged or wrong items go back free.
Can I order from Coupang as a foreigner without a Korean phone number or card?
Yes — that's the exact gap Order in Korea fills. Paste the Coupang product link, option, and quantity into our order form and pay with PayPal; you never need to create a Coupang account, verify a Korean phone number, or hold a Korean-issued card.
How much does it cost to order from Coupang through you?
Our fee is 10% of the item's price, with a $5 minimum and a $20 minimum order, shown before you pay. Most of that fee covers real costs — PayPal charges around 4.4% plus $0.30, and currency conversion adds another 3–4% — so our actual margin is roughly 2–4%, not 10%.
Where will my Coupang order be delivered?
Anywhere in Korea with a real address: your apartment or officetel, a university dorm, a hotel or Airbnb, an office, or a military base. We enter your address into Coupang exactly as their system expects, and their own courier delivers it — the parcel never passes through us.
Can you order groceries or frozen food from Coupang?
Yes. Fresh and frozen food arrives in Coupang's chilled packaging and is left at your door, so plan to bring it in soon after delivery. Fresh food can't be returned for a change of mind, so double-check the item and quantity before you send the link.
