How Decathlon works

Decathlon (데카트론) is the world's largest sports retailer, and its Korean stores and decathlon.co.kr carry own-brand gear spanning cycling, hiking, swimming, fitness, and camping — including Quechua for hiking and camping, Domyos for fitness, and its own cycling range, often at prices below specialist Korean outdoor retailers.

Decathlon Korea (데카트론) sells its own sports brands through its Korean website and stores. Online orders ship the next business day by CJ courier, sometimes in several parcels from up to three stores, and some items can only be bought in a store or for store pickup. Korea runs its own 7-day return window, not the longer member returns Decathlon offers in some other markets.

  • 7 days to return, with feesReturns must be requested within 7 days of receipt. Orders under ₩50,000 lose the ₩3,000 original shipping, exchanges cost ₩3,000 each way, and used items or items with removed tags can't be returned.
  • Other malls, other rulesDecathlon also sells through SSG, Naver Smart Store and Coupang, and orders placed there follow those malls' refund and exchange policies. Send us the decathlon.co.kr link if you want Decathlon's own terms.

Why foreigners get stuck on Decathlon — and what we do

You can walk into a Decathlon store in Korea, but not every branch has every size in stock, and decathlon.co.kr's checkout expects a Korean account and a Korean-issued card. How long does Decathlon Korea take to deliver?

Online orders ship the next business day by CJ courier and usually arrive within 1–3 business days. Depending on stock, an order can be split across up to three stores and arrive in separate parcels. Shipping is ₩3,000 below ₩50,000 and free above that.

What is Decathlon Korea's return policy?

Returns and exchanges must be requested within 7 days of receipt, with tags and packaging intact. Under ₩50,000 the original ₩3,000 shipping is deducted from a refund, and an exchange costs ₩3,000 each way. The long member return period Decathlon offers in some other markets does not apply in Korea.

How do I order from Decathlon Korea as a foreigner living here?

Browse decathlon.co.kr, find the product and size you want, then send us the product link with your chosen size, color, and quantity. We check out using our local account and arrange delivery to your Korean address — home, dorm, or Airbnb — while you pay with PayPal.

What does Order in Korea charge?

Our fee is 10% of the item price, minimum $5, with a minimum order of $20 — shown in your currency before you pay. Most of that covers real cost, not profit: PayPal takes roughly 4.4% plus $0.30, and currency conversion adds another 3-4%, leaving us a margin of about 2-4%.

Where can my Decathlon order be delivered?

Any Korean address — your apartment, dormitory, hotel, or Airbnb. We enter it as the delivery address on the order itself, so Decathlon's courier delivers straight there, and we take the confirmation call in Korean if it comes.

Will Decathlon Korea sizing match what I normally wear?

Decathlon Korea lists sizes as XS–XXL alongside numeric options, and fit varies from one product line to another. Check the size guide on the product page, and add your usual size and measurements to the order notes so we can match the right option on the size chart before we buy.
