Bunjang (번개장터) is South Korea's largest peer-to-peer secondhand marketplace, where individual sellers list everything from sneakers and streetwear to K-pop merchandise, vintage clothing, electronics, and home goods. Its sheer scale — millions of active listings — makes it the place to find rare, discontinued, or hard-to-source items at prices set directly by Korean sellers.
The catch is that Bunjang runs entirely in Korean: registration needs a Korean mobile number, sellers negotiate only in Korean chat, and payment goes through Bunjang's own Korean-verified escrow system. Order in Korea messages the seller, agrees the price, and pays through that system on your behalf, giving the seller your Korean address so the shipment reaches you directly.

Can I buy from Bunjang sellers if I don't speak Korean?
Yes. Order in Korea handles the Korean side for you — we message the seller, confirm price and condition, and pay through Bunjang's own escrow system. You only need to talk to us, in English, from start to finish.
How is the price and fee worked out for a secondhand item?
Bunjang prices are set by individual sellers and are sometimes negotiable. We confirm the current asking price with the seller before you pay. Our fee is 10% of that price, with a $5 minimum and a $20 minimum order — most of it covers PayPal and currency-conversion costs, so our actual margin is roughly 2–4%.
Where can Bunjang items be delivered?
Any Korean address: an apartment, officetel, dormitory, hotel, or Airbnb. When a seller ships through Bunjang, we give them your address directly so their courier delivers straight to you.
What if a Bunjang listing is meetup-only (직거래)?
We always ask the seller if they're willing to ship instead, since that lets us complete the order the same way as any other purchase. If they'll only do an in-person meetup, we'll tell you before you pay so you can decide whether to go ahead.
